Pros

This modem works like a champ. No muss, no fuss. Qos is a bit limited but i am now able to prioritize my video game/ventrilo traffic over netflix streaming which is a big boost.

It works great with both century link and windstream. You just enter the username and password and change the vci/vpi if necessary. It functions with my at&t service. Bought this modem five years ago to avoid renting from at&t.

Cons

Good price but not worth the headache. Since it is past the return window i will get pennies on the dollar and have to pay for the return shipping.

The configuration ui is far inferior to anything i have recently encountered. It is poorly organized, with functionality being arbitrarily lumped into the advanced setup and security groupings. The auto-detect during set-up seemed to work fine but it ... Read More

Bought this a few months ago to pair with a 5year old wireless router and our century link dsl internet

Hopefully will last longer than the other brand
