Pros

Used these on 80 gallon 2 stage air compressor. I live in an old house with obnoxious lower level tenants who bang around and the entire house shakes. They have a very slight odor but hardly noticeable unless you held them up to your nose.

Cons

The smell is horrendous. It smells like you went diving in a vat of petroleum.
