Besides the intended design of providing a variety of radius surfaces to wrap curved pieces around i find the flat end very useful for making bent joints and bent tabs very crisp by focusing pressure at the joint

The tools were a good fit for my hand my moms arthritis didnt bother her unduly and the tools themselves are good quality the jaws meeting properly rather than crookedly or off center as in some other kits ive seen
