Pros

The mesh here is a decent size and did catch the hobs/trub/whatever that was in the wort. Never had a stuck mash even with flaked wheat and rye. Works great when complimented with the stainless barrel/pot spigot.

Very affordable way to make a mash tun or hot liquor tank compared to some of the pre built items. This is far superior to my homemade rig. Awesome addition to my mash tun made from a 40qt picnic cooler.

Cons

Filter screen is poorly attached to the 1/2 threaded coupler. It blocks the flow of wort almost completely. Blinds too easily with hops residue. Not impressed with the fermenter.
