The first press of the mist button will start diffusing mist intermittently for 30 seconds and then stop for 30 seconds before continuing

Press the button quickly once more for continuous mist product if you prefer that and hold the button if you want to turn the diffuser off entirely

It turns off by itself when the water runs out
