I did not record my voice thinking it would be off but no its a loud horrible static noise that repeats 3 times

The only thing i found is when it gets 20 degrees or lower the cat food does not dispense cause it freezes inside the unit

The ability to record a pet call before meal times is funny at first then turns annoying

I didnt bother changing the time on the unit to daylight savings time because half of the year it will be correct

The only reason that i am not giving it a 5 star rating is that the setting of the times and amounts is somewhat of a pain and the digital display needs to be higher on the device so that a person does not have to lie on the floor or put the feeder on a counter to set it

Only thing is if for some reason you need to feed your dog 5 cups at once then this wont work

Not sure what exactly the kid was doing but it cost us 50–100 each trip
