We got scott brand and this brand and the scott did not smell like this at all but this one was terrible

Which i guess is nice from a recycling perspective but makes this mulch inappropriate for paths or close visual inspection

Given it is sold as dark i guess i shouldnt complain that it is obviously heavily dyed – be careful not to stain clothes or other materials
