We have the desk on carpet so its not that bad but on tile its a horrible unbalance

Also it could have been about 4 to 6 inches further off the floor

Mind you it is fairly small like a foot and a half to the back and 2 12 feet across and its not real steady

I have mine loaded down with a full tower film scanner printer 27 monitor and a small 2 channel speaker system with a sub its a touch crowed but still usable

The only thing that disappointed me is i could not fit the computer and the printer on the lower shelf like the picture shows
