Before, i could just hit the beverage/popcorn/pizza button and walk away.

It will even continue the succession of beeps after opening the door.

It gets hot, the times given in the feature buttons (personal preference here) vary, beverage for one is fine (for steeping tea temps), but pizza for one slice is too long, popcorn (individual) is too long or it'll burn.

Run it for more than 3 minutes and it overheats and shuts down.
