Was really excited that a product like this existed and the price seemed just right
Competitiveness
I have liftmaster systems in my garage so bought this to try to add the smart features to the garage
The myq app walks you through the setup with very clear and concise instructions
The workaround would be to tell your phone to open myq app and then tap on open garage door but driving that is not a good idea
They replaced a sonoff switch and i am contemplating going back but they are more of an engineering project

Product worked great for the first month or so but then i kept getting this error message saying its not connected to wifi

Im not sure if theres a problem with my wifi or the product everything else in my house stays connected to wifi no problem but within the last month or so i started getting this error on my phone why i tried to open the garage door

Works through its own app from the app store which is great but using with google assistant it has to talk to the service server and you cannot open the door through google assistant

When the door is closing the hub beeps loudly to alert closure but beeps for a few extra unnecessary seconds after the door is closed

Oftentimes they dont even rung my doorbell and even so i cant get to the door before they pull a houdini when they do ring the bell
