I am not a super technical person. But, I was able to set this up with only a little help from my daughter. This three pack mesh system comes with two dual band nodes and one triband nodes. My daughter suggested (after reading the setup pamphlet) setting up one of the dual band nodes with my router/modem, since sort of in the corner of the house. Then the triband was set up in the livingroom, because it is the strongest one and the livingroom is centrally located. The last node went in a back bedroom. The instructions are written quite simply, though I did have to focus a bit to make sure I was doing everything correctly. I used my cell phone to set up the software, because you have to download the linksys app and create an account. The hardest part was waiting patiently for the software to do it’s thing. So I would walk away while it worked on setting up each node. So, it took about an hour to set up all three nodes. I haven’t done much yet beyond set up and connect a few devices to the wi-fi. The signal, before the nodes was not strong in the back of the house. Now, with the nodes, it looks like it’s about the same. It also had the same name as my router/modem, because that’s what I named it. I didn’t realize when linksys was asking for the wifi name that I was supposed to make up a new name. My home is not very big, about 1600 feet, 4 bedroom, one level. But, the nodes don’t seem to have any made any discernible difference in the signal strength anywhere in the house. My laptop still says the signal is medium, same as the signal that comes directly from my original router/modem. That makes the nodes seem a bit redundant, at least in my house.  Read Less
