I am very happy with the size quality of this cooker
Ive only used it 3 or 4 times but so far i am very pleased
Quality control let this one slip through
Thought i would try this hamilton beach product

Price was really good and yes the metal seems a bit thin compared to our last one but it doesnt seem to affect the performance
Wonderful and great price i use it twice a week
No wonder it was nearly half price
Packaging/appearance
It is metal and mine is perfect its not paperboard
Competitiveness
Went from a 6qt to this 4qt and the meals have turned out better so far for our family of 3
A simply 4qt cooker with a white bowl which are getting harder to find

So while i store or clean one ceramic insert and lid i can use the other set to prepare more food

Ive noticed that my new base unit is also a very soft metal so it could also be damaged more easily than i would like especially while travelingtaking it to share at social events etc

Because i wanted to be able to use the ceramic insert from my original cooker i passed up models that include the lid clamp

It did not come with the band that is used to seal the lid tighter so i had to order one separately

I only need the high and low settings for the things i make in it and wouldnt know what to do with a fancier model
