Right out of the box it is already fully assembled you just need to unwrap it and wash it out then go through and read the instructions

The first thing i tried was dino chicken nuggets for my kids and being the good mom that i am i had to try them out first oh man were they good and so crispy my kids loved them too usually i cook them in the toaster oven and it takes 20 min or more these only took 10 min there is a note in the instructions to either preheat the machine or just add 3 min to the cook time

As for the size i think it is just right on the box it says the fryer basket is 2

But if you do try it and find you just don’t like it you could return it

Also the removable copper units are dishwasher safe which is value added
