In some videos, it shows that the filter needs to be streched out to make sure that it fit well.

When i take the old one out, you can tell it catches a lot of debris and particulate because the filter turns a dark gray and sometimes even catches larger particles like leaves.

Changing the filter eliminated squeaking noises from the blower motor when i ran the a/c or heater.
