Having a curved feature in loppers makes it difficult say for instance if clearing areas where there are involuntary multiple bushes that sprouted close to one another at ground level

If the loppers were straight edged it would expedite cutting to one clip

If i clip 6 inches above ground no problem but at ground level where they are close together it is impossible to place the loppers between each to cut level with the ground
