Ok, here's my thought after trying this little beard trimmer. The Pros are the following. You can wash the head under water. This makes cleanup really easy and nice. It has a smaller cutting head that makes it easy to get in those tough spots where precision is necessary when you don't use the guard. It's sharp. it cut's hair very well and you don't have to cover the same area more than once. The Cons are the following. Battery life is less than what I would expect out of a beard trimmer. 10 hours of charging for 40 minutes of shaving. Doesn't really seem like much usage time compared to the charging time. The design of the guard can be a little subjective from beard to beard since everyone's hair grows a bit differently. This would work well for people with DENSE hair. For people with strait and less than dense hair, the guard can make trimming a bit of a task and you may have to cover areas twice. This trimmer would work great for guys that have a very short and trimmed beard but if you have a longer beard, this trimmer simply won't work well for you because of the short trim length settings. The actual physical quality of this trimmer seems sub-par to other Braun products that I have bought and used in the past. Seems pretty light weight and cheap to me.
