If i were rating this item for its efficacy in relieving discomfort for mild issues id have given it 4 stars

I do not believe this brace would be effective for anything more than a mild sprain or mild flare up of carpal tunnel though

My only advice is to allow slack around the thumb otherwise it becomes uncomfortable if wrapped too tight because it will tug at the skin between the thumb and first finger
