The waitress was aware that the food being served was vile as she continuously kept apologising for the fact that they had yet again got another cook clearly no chef

We use to recommend this place as it use to be the best one on the area would not ever recommend again the chicken is boiled and the beef is served with as much fat as possible they do not like criticism albeit passive and constructive the manager would rather argue with you if i were advising on this place my advise would be don’t go near it unless you wish to have confrontation with the man who clearly has no people skills and would prefer to loose customers

Stopped in hotel down road and called in here over two days great staff and beers open fire nice outdoor area to rear and i opted for fish n chips and have to say best i’ve had for years recommending anyone to call in if in the area i will return

Visited this restaurant on 29th for sunday roast two couples we all had the mixed meat and we can not praise the food any more than saying it was great probably the best sunday roast only draw back is we never booked but was found a table but it was in a room with a children’s party very loud and screaming guess next time we would book

The texture was grainy and to be honest the worst thing i have ever tasted in my life

It was definitely mushrooms but i think someone had just blended very badly as it wasnt at all smooth raw mushrooms and then added water and warmed it up

I will give the staff their due they did apologise and offered to reseason the soup but everyone knows you cant just reseason soup it has to be cooked with season not added after
