Okay food and waiter service low staff to guest ratio

It also meant certain areas of the hotel were off limits over the two days you couldn’t sit in the bar or the sun lounges due to filming your peaceful stay was impacted by angry italian directors shouting at their underperforming actors

The staff were apologetic and it was clearly not their fault but the hotel itself offered no apology whatsoever

They didn’t even mention it was happening upon checkin

It would then feel like the hotel valued their customers rather than just the glitz of appearing in an advert

This impression of twotiered guests and services sadly shone through in other aspects people in more expensive rooms were ‘friends of the hotel’ and got access to sun lounges that other guests didn’t service from the staff differed widely depending on how much money you were perceived to have and for a 5 hotel they made no attempt to include any services for free if they felt they could charge you for them hiring of hotel bikes to go five minutes down the road was €20 and they gave you a free shuttle transfer into town again 5 mins away but charged you €20 to get back

The down side is that they claim 5 but there many details in customer services are missing
