    Given that we consider ourselves to be regulars it would be reasonable to expect on arrival for whoever is on reception to acknowledge that we are returning customers.

    Granted that the staff on reception are often new from year to year they may not recognise us by appearance.

    However a hotel chain like the hyatt should have sufficient systems in place where even trainee staff should able to see on their computer when completing a guest's registration that they are returning guests and acknowledge this appropriately.
