Pros
Hotel bardo is the epitome of everything i look for in a vacation. If you’re looking to be luxuriously pampered and relaxed to the max, this is your spot.
This one beats selina and holistika which were the other hotels we stay at. It blends in seamlessly with the jungle surroundings and is decorated impeccably.
Hotel bardo is a hidden gem in tulum. The hotel is well positioned in town, a short car ride from everything. The location also provides an easy drive to the tulum ruins or beach.
Each room at bardo is a private, immaculately designed villa that includes a private pool and jungle garden with a hammock. The villas are private and spacious with plunge pools and an outdoor shower.
Cons
The wifi is so slow. The location is not in the best neighbourhood and it’s far to go anywhere. Highly recommend booking somewhere else for half the price.
The bed is uncomfortable. The length of the king size bed is short so our fit dangles out. The remote control for the a/c is very frustrating and complicated.

For the amount of money we spent nothing really came with the room price except for the water

We would have liked to use the robes without charge and it would have been nice if they provided slippers after all the theme is all about relaxation

We also thought for the cost you should have access to mini fridge and a microwave to reheat food if you wanted

Mini fridge is packed with snacks all for sale of course and barely kept cool
