Our horses were user friendly and on autopilot even when someone had a saddle issue and we had to stop the horses moved off the trail and started grazing

There are several horse tours at gettysburg but confederate trails cant be beat for its attention to detail and presentations

Our horses were wonderful and easy to ride our guide kevin was not only knowledgable but personable and impassioned about the history he narrated

Confederate trails gets it name i suppose because the ride starts behind where the confederate line stood on the first day of the battle and rides along the route that picketts famous charge took

This is the second ride weve done with this group the first concentrated on pickett and the rebel side with a knowledgable guide who seemed very focused on the illfated charge and the lost cause

They adjusted stirrups for each rider before starting out and rechecked girths and stirrups at the halfway break point where the horses were allowed to rest
