There are several horse tours at gettysburg but confederate trails can't be beat for its attention to detail and presentations.

Our horses were wonderful and easy to ride; our guide, kevin, was not only knowledgable but personable and impassioned about the history he narrated.

This is the second ride we've done with this group; the first concentrated on pickett and the rebel side, with a knowledgable guide who seemed very focused on the ill-fated charge and the lost cause.

They adjusted stirrups for each rider before starting out and rechecked girths and stirrups at the halfway break point, where the horses were allowed to rest.
