This is amazing！It is easy for skin to absorb and hydrate your skin. At first, I loved this serum since it does on smoothly and makes my skin feels so nice to the touch. Loved the scent too (although not a lot of people like it). However after a few days of using it, I developed small dry patches on my cheeks and it made my skin sting a little bit. It stings too when I applied my other serums and this has never happened before. SO I looked at the ingredients and it has denatured alcohol as its top 2 ingredient. Didn't even bother finishing the trial bottle, definitely not worth it to me! Denatured alcohol as one of the top ingredients is a NO NO for me as it is drying and can lead to irritation.  Read Less

I haven’t used this long enough to love it, but the ridiculous claim that it makes skin 28% stronger in a week, is enough to IRRITATE me right on to the next product. BUT, where, who and WHY do so many self professed skin care experts think glycerin, dimethicone, and even alcohol denatured are the DEVIL in any product?? . Denatured alcohol is simply ethyl alcohol, with a denaturant added to make it undrinkable, and can be used in non appreciable amounts to cause sunscreens to dry quicker, certain lotions to soak in faster, or to make formulas less greasy. Other alcohols, fatty alcohols, are actually quite softening, and the only alcohol free labeling rule per the FDA, is that the item not contain ethyl alcohol listed as such. Glycerin, dimethicone and GASP especially mineral oil, are FANTASTIC occlusive, emollient and humectant moisturizers, and they do not clog pores. If any of you are cosmetic chemists, or medical doctors, and disagree, please, I’m all ears. Considering that a Serum is something left on our face overnight, I personally wouldn’t choose a product with denatured alcohol, but BRING on the glycerin. Oh and PS: Parabens aren’t bad either. Stop believing your YouTube beauty guru has one half of a clue what they’re talking about. Hint; they do NOT. Ask someone with an actual scientific education background, or a skin doctor. Otherwise, stop spouting about these items as if they’re your job. Because I VERY much doubt they are. I mean let’s for sure avoid companies that test on animals, YES, let’s focus on THAT, not vilifying super effective and scientifically proven ingredients.  Read Less
