I’ve taken these for years and they used to work very well. My skin was bright and my acne went away and I would get compliments on my skin. If ever I would stop taking them, my skin would break out so I could tell that these were working. However, the formula has changed more recently and the tablets are smaller and look different. These stopped working for me and my skin is now breaking out terribly even taking the full dose, multiple bottles in. Extremely disappointing considering the price point. I am a 28 year old African American female. I have not had clear skin since I was a baby, I have always had whiteheads, bumps, and dark acne scars all over my face. And I've had have tried every cream, peel, facial, and microdermabrasion under the sun! I decided to try these pills and this is my 7th month taking them. Not only is my skin BUMP FREE, but my hair and nails benefit as well. Note though that I also wash my face in the morning and at night with a Clarisonic, and use Clinique Even Better face moisturizer. The few tips I would offer though is that (1) The first three weeks were HORRIBLE - my skin got horribly worse before it got better. I had deep red acne bumps all over my face during weeks 2 and 3 on these pills. After that, my face cleared up. (2) I was already taking a multivitamin when I started taking these pills. I thought I could take both but I started getting headaches because I was basically poisoning myself w/ overdosages. So if you're looking to start these, maybe time it with when you run out of whatever multivitamin you're already taking. (3) Be ready to commit to up to two months to see results. (4) If I miss even one dose, my face breaks out! At night sometimes I forget, and I wake up w/ a few whiteheads and/or deep acne bumps on my face that disappear after a few days.  Read Less

I don't know where to start. I have suffer from hormonal acne on my chin for the past 4 years. I went to a dermatologist and she gave me pills and creams and didn't work. I have done medical grade chemical peels, facials, used all kinds of creams, clay mask everything you can think of and my skin was still the same and more irritated. Finally I made an appointment with an endocrinologist (hormonal doctor) he prescribe me birth control, but I didn't take them because of the side effects. I felt lost didn't know what to do anymore:( finally !!!!! The girl at Sephora said to try this pills I didn't want to buy them because I said this is not going to work it's just vitamins !! Wellllllll omgggggggg my first two weeks I stopped braking out and my skin has been so much better... i can't thank murad enough for this pills.
