I initially tried this as an overnight mask as some reviewers indicated good results however i ended up with red irritated dry skin

Looking at the ingredient list there are a few suspects as to what may have caused this but my top suspect is citronellol which is a known skin irritant

Its generally used for fragrance but can trigger skin aggravation so i dont see the benefit of including it in a mask meant to soothe

If you are sensitive to citronellol or other citruslemon type ingredients then read the ingredients closely and approach this mask with caution

I have used the evercalm global protection day cream with good results so had hopes for this mask but alas its a hard pass
