I ended up returning the lip gloss rather than trying to make it work.

It doesn’t have the cakey look of lipstick or the too shiny (cheap) look of gloss.

It's not as thick as a balm and not as thin as an oil, nor is it sticky like many glosses.

I will say that the lightest nude colour is very brown and did not flatter my face at all.

I ended up ordering the lightest nude in the sephora version (caramel) and find it to be a lot more flattering and natural in colour, not so brown.
