This is a great idea for a product, but it doesn't work for me. The ball itself is packaged surrounded by a latex balloon, after two weeks of use it still smells like latex. I have combo skin and large pores, when I use this my pore become very noticeable and my pores look dirty. It doesn't clean very well at all.  Read Less

I bought this because I often sleep in my makeup and wanted a fun way to cleanse so I can develop good daily habits. This cleanser definitely delivered and it's definitely fun to use it. Sometimes I massage the jelly ball directly on my face and other times I lather my hands with it and massage my face with my hands. It's fairly gentle and while it slightly irritates eyes if soap gets in, it's not as bad as other foam cleansers I have used. The product comes in a latex balloon and a pick, so you can puncture the balloon with the pick to pop the balloon and release the product. I like that this product is very hygienic because sometimes people buy skincare bottles and return them used, so this ensures that your product is always new. However I don't like the small puncture hole that is now permanently in my jelly ball, when I re-purchase this cleanser I will instead cut the knot of the balloon with a pair of scissors so that it is not damaged. I gave this product 4 stars and not 5 because I really do not like the storage the cleanser comes with. It's that thin plastic packaging that is used to hold a product in place when you buy a boxed product, and the plastic edges are even still raw so it looks very cheap. Since $20 for a 3 oz. cleanser definitely approaches luxury territory, I would have appreciated a storage option that was less cheap-looking. I am currently on the hunt for a holder that is more sturdy because I'm not sure if it would handle a drop. It would be nice if Boscia offered a jelly ball cleanser holder as an accessory, similar to how Beauty Blender makes holders for their products. Overall I really like this cleanser, it's not life-changing but it does the job right and I double cleanse anyway. For those who don't like charcoal, Boscia makes a pink camellia-scented jelly ball as well.  Read Less
