I have some knives that are not henckles, sabatier and victorinox.
My beloved 35 year old 4-star chefs knife was, unfortunately, lost to theft.
I would not offer a henckles as a gift.

They require ongoing maintenance that many people are simply unable to perform and then they turn out to be a disappointment.
