Thankfully the lock works and it’s never opened up and leaked out

I have only experienced two issues with this water the first is that after about 6 months of use the thick rubber band that facilitates the lid to open broke

The second issue is that when filling if any water doesn’t go directly into the mouth of the bottle the lid can trap some of the water and then dribble it when you go to drink

Sadly i didnt realize that when you wish to drink repeatedly you will have to pop the top off each time or keep it off

It is a gift for my daughter whose favorite color is purple so that is disappointing especially since hot pink is not a color choice
