We bought an old copper lamp overseas but the top was smaller than the us standard 4 opening

While this product seems perfectly fine the hook has a narrow opening perhaps the width of a safety pin head

I was able to jimmy rig and maneuver light fixture into hook but be aware that this hook in not universal for all light fixtures
