The unit feels toasty to the touch but you can keep your hand on the top or side without getting burnt. When it reaches 212 degrees, this newest model plays the lover's concerto. All my family love this boiler sooo much!
It's easy to clean with zojirushi cleaning tablets. Are straightforward and easy to use. Very easily cleaned.
Don't settle for the cheaper companies. Build quality is much better than other brand. To us, it's the same as tiger which is more expensive.

The heatup time to boil is good and the water quality is maintained with no residual odor from the unit itself.
Other than that, very happy with the product.
And the top of the lid does not seem to flush with the top of the profile, not sure if it is quality issues or where it is produced.
However, i'm concerned that they reduced the quality or at least the thickness of the materials.
After several months use, i will need to use the special citrus cleaning method according to the product guidelines.

The price is cheap and good quality!
I concluded that they may have made some design improvements but went too far in cost cutting.
Competitiveness
Now we got another zojirushi boiler and everything is back to normal.
Great product but this model seems to be much louder than other models i have owned in the past.
Our old trusty zojirushi water boiler had retired early this year.

It takes at least half an hour to boil the water.

I choose the heating option to one of four temperature settings but no boiling just simply heating and holding when the chosen temperature is reached.
