If youre going to give these as gifts i recommend you buy the smaller 6hour version and give them in pairs because trying to warm your hands using only one of the 12hour warmers is awkward and difficult

Heck most people smoked cigarettes and it was hard to smell anything anyway

The more you restrict the air the longer the burn time but this means it will not get as hot also this needs fuel vapor to work so if the warmer gets too cold the fuel wont vaporiz and that will cause poor performance

I would not give to a little kid as they can get hot to the touch if left in the open and could burn if out of the case
