Pros

Kit includes both upper and lower thermostats and heating elements. Removing old components and replacing with new thermostat/heating elements was a snap. Needed a special socket to remove the old elements.

If you are not sure of how it should be wired, hire and electrician. Open hot water valve to let air in and back out when finished.

Everything works well and even with the added cost of a 1

With the two new elements the unit runs far more efficiently and my bills are down to prefailure levels 250mo i couldnt be happier with it

I didnt bother with the thermostats as they were working fine

While the elements and thermostats seem to be good quality there were no wiring diagrams or instructions for installation
