It not only slices, but does two forms of julienne cuts -thick and thin.

It is very easy to switch modes on the slicer, simply turn a knob on the side to switch from standard slicing, to thin cut julienne to thick cut.

I tried a sharp cheddar cheese, but it turned out to be a softer cheese and so it didn’t grate well.
