I picked this converter after noticing that reviews of others mentioned no sound

The only very minor negatives are that the red power indicator light is very bright and can be distracting under the tv the power adaptor plug orientation isnt optimal for my power strip had to put it on an end slot to not block an adjacent plug the power adaptor cord is a bit on the short side

Allowed for sound to come out of a projector that supports 1080p that was connected to a cable box

There are no inputs for the 5 component redgreenblue whitered on the tv

That means my original old school xbox 360 which does not have an hdmiout would only connect to the tv via the redyellowwhite rca cables low def 43 picture
