Once i fixed this properly in place and trimmed it to size this has worked really well was worth taking the wheel and tyre off to do this as just trying to fit it in with the wheel in place did not work out

Cut tape to length put the inner tube back in and reassemble tyre

I wanted to test the toughness of this tape so i got a hawthorn spike and tried to push it through a scrap piece of tape

It wouldnt go through just bent the spike

This was a spike off a green tree however and not a hardened dead piece

If i rode my bike over a protruding nail this stuff probably wouldnt save the inner tube
