Pros

On my latest trip due to mishandling my net was broken. It is easier on the fish and i get a lot less hook snags. Fits nicely in my storage and the rubber coating doesnt get snagged on hooks.

Cons

The hoop and stem of the net are strong enough and great, but the folding connector between them is plastic. The bridge connecting the two are so questionably thin that breaking seems inevitable if you don't always handle it delicately. Very flimsy an...  Read More

Quality

I havent caught a fish lol yet but i like the quality and it looks of it

Packaging/appearance

My boat is pretty small and doesnt have a ton of space so this was pretty nice to keep it out of the way

I wish they had a version without the coating

Competitiveness

We made a dumb mistake when we converted our swimming pool into a natural pond when we included tilapia as one of our stock fish

After we had gorgeous native water lilies blooming in our shallow end separated by tilapia fence from the deep end the tilapia bred and their babies invaded the shallow end through the fence openings grew to adults and ate the lilies

Since then weve waited for a freeze cold enough to kill the semitopical tilapia but it hadnt happened since

Then after fish management pros suggested poisoning the whole pond as the only way to get rid of them i figure out a better solution using food to attract and train the fish to be fearless of the net

Once they appeared to accept the net i threw food away to distract the school of native fish while i scooped up a tilapia or two from the rest
