Plastics feel a bit cheap and the * require a bit harder press, which is not big issue to me, but still exists. For use with aa and aaa ni-cd or ni-mh batteries.
This youshiko charger charges all of my rechargeable batteries unless they are truly dead. It has a selectable charging current upto 1000ma and a good lcd display. It also has a 5v usb output socket.

Cons
Getting 4x eneloop pro (which are very slightly thicker than standard aas) out of this device is almost impossible. The temperature sensor is non-functional. I use uniross hybrio rechargeables mostly, and the aas just don't fit properly in this charge... Read More
Only discharges aaa batteries in slot 3 and 4, in slots 1 and 2 just charges up to full and stops. That is completely unacceptable as it basically means this product can't charge batteries on it's own.

Im not sure if the 34new improved uk version34 of this model has corrected this issue

It is interesting that some of the amazon basics aa also 4 years old have gone through about 100 or so charge cycles and only lost 5 of their capacity

If you are looking at chargers that connect to usb they are unlikely to be able to do this

Unless you are desperate for speed then charging aas at more than 1a is likely to affect their life
