Kyle understands that in order to truly comprehend something, you have to know it. Kyle does a good job explaining the nuisances of the language, but this book is starting to age.

The author finishes a chapter on using the keyword this with a statement which suggest forcing your code to use the keywords this, or forever be shamed that you can't understand writing javascript. The book uses language that is not succinct.
