This lens this lens right here best lens ive ever owned i had an absolute blast using this lens while i had it i sadly dropped it in a river retrieved it but it wasnt looking good

It was only afterwards i read reviews and pros and cons of the yongnuo yn 50mm vs canon 50mm that i wish i bought the canon lens instead only because i will be filming professionally later on

It is like the original 50mm lens canon originally made cheap plastic and noisy focus motor there is no zoom in or out on this lens

It does take a nice photo it is only when you go into detail that you notice the images you take are not as sharp as they should be when matched up against like for like shots with the canon lens

Only downside is the noise of the focus ring seems slightly louder than canons but not a huge deal breaker for shooting photos but would be too loud if using for video and recording audio from the camera

Only slight foible is it has a tendency to overexpose by about a third of an f stop so i now apply that amount of compensation on the camera or in post processing of the image

I initially forgot that this lens is not stabilised and was shooting at speeds as slow as 15s and lower only to realise later when viewing on the computer screen that they were blurred
