Also the carrier flap is closed with velcro and the user need to press it firmly

For the size of the blanket something more substantial like a buckle or tie straps to secure the blanket when in a carrier configuration would have been a better design

Just be aware of the fact that it does take up space although not heavy it is bulky which may limit what you can pack if you have sizeweight limitations in terms of travel

However i dont understand why the blanket was designed to fold up with the fabric side out instead of the weather proof side

You have to put the clean side down in order to fold it
