The connector does indicate which pin is negative and positive so make sure you plug it in accordingly.

The length of the bulbs is due to a fan that's part of the housing.

They are super small and i was able to put my stock dust cover back on.

The heat-sink/fan assembly of this bulb is too big and you can't get the boot over it.

However, the boot does appear to partially cover the heat-sink and may prevent proper cooling of the bulb and shorten its life.
