Another week resulted in a dip of ~55mbps for 3 hours, so i’m curious to know if this is a result of having a router that isn’t compatible with this cable (nighthawk r6700 router).

It’s not detrimental, as i still have 30-40mbps, and i don’t require more than that for the most part, but it is frustrating to see.

I have used and tested more ethernet cables than i can remember and there is no question, all ethernet cables are not created equally.

A good comparison is those cables are much like an old car - it should get you there, whereas this cable is like a high end sports car - it will get you there lightning fast, without fail.
