Sound quality is limited more by the speakers limits i believe than the amp
I replace my old amp with this receiver and i am very pleased

I bought this receiver to replace a pioneer vsx1300 that constantly had network connection errors and the phone app wouldnt work consistently

Great sound for my television which is what i use it for that being said set up is very complex and wiring all of the speakers made quite unnecessarily difficult by the type of connectors used at the back of the unit a real bear to use

One feature i did not expect to use is the bluetooth output from the receiver

The app is great because i can lower the volume or switch setup from my phone when im upstairs and the kids are downstairs
