I have a cd player hooked up to it with 4 smallish speakers in my shop/studio. It drives a couple of old bose 201s and it can make them loud and fairly clean. Bought for my dad in florida to power 2 outdoor yamaha speakers.

Cons
This amp is absurdly underpowered. Adjusting the bass all the way up made virtually no difference. Unit powered on and turned off in less than 2 seconds.
Total disappointment, replacement behaves the same way as the original one. Since this is the second unit that has behaved this way, it's not just one bad unit.
Unlikely, when there's craigslist. It's hard to think of how much more misleading this could be. It takes a heck of a lot of digging to get a filtered view.

I wish the remote had a way to quickly switch to the programmed fm stations desired without having to cycle through each programmed station until the desired station is reached but i dont listen to fm enough for it to be a big issue

I have purchased many receivers over the years and some of them have been disappointing with eq presets or no way to change the bass or treble without navigating an extensive menu

I bought another yamaha a while back with all the hdmi and fancy surround stuff trying to be the hub of all the components
