I use yamaha pro 300 earphones with an android phone galaxy ii t989 and although the center button of the control works fine to pausestart playback with a single press or skip to the next song with a double press the volume control does not work

Also the plug is too thick to fit my phone while it has the tmobile d3o case on this is not a problem with my sony mdrxb600 headphones

My ears dont hold ear buds very well and unfortunately my gym plays music that i dont want to listen to and the ear buds that do fit my ears dont keep out enough of the music they play at the gym

They arent active noise cancelling they just block out the outside noise

Pro good sound quality reasonable noise blocking for on ear and non canceling headphones obvious attention to materials and construction stylish design packaging and case are apple stylecon a little snug for bigger heads sound quality is good but not the best in the price range
