Pros

Highs and mids are very musical. They sound great and can be very loud. Really crisp and sound great other than lacking the lows at higher volumes.

We have these mounted under the facia for our patio. Covered by 10ft of overhang, subject to wind, minimal rain, and lots of nighttime bugs.

Bass is punchy enough for outdoor. Sound quality is phenomenal and bass is impressive. Good sound quality on open air pier on lake.

Cons

These seem to be junk. Rude and no accountability forthe inferior plugs on their products. This product has a two year warranty but the phone number provided on the warranty card for doesn't work.

Dots of a black adhesive is clearly not adequate. Yamaha needs to use a proper high temperature adhesive or design them with clips. The speaker cover (that front main grill plate) is only secured to the speaker unit by an adhesive.
