Pros

This review was written 2 full days after installing it. The times activates for 5hrs a day because the company recommended 4-6 hrs a day after established. I run it for a few hours a day now and the water remains clearer than ever.

Cons

There is a black tube that houses the uv light and only allows a small amount of light to get to the water as it’s passing. To check this i had to take the top wooden box over the aquarium then the glass directly over the fish tank.

Works like it should ran it 3 days over night and the tank was crystal clear after it

We had a severe bacterial bloom and noticed improvement within 8 hours after two days it was clear water 3 days absolutely crystal clear

After 5 days my water was crystal clear again and i couldn’t believe it

This was half the price and did an amazing job

And at huge savings over other similar items its a bargain too

Also its much cheaper than the one the local store says i was needing and they also wanted to do all of this water testing first

So i would say this is a good value
