I ordered this mouse after searching for a cheap, wired mouse with two thumb buttons to replace my  TeckNet Classic M002 2.4G Nano Wireless Mouse,6 Buttons,18 Month Battery Life,2000 DPI 3 Adjustment Levels . I wanted something wired after becoming fed up with my TeckNet M002 for losing connection, draining batteries, and general issues after a year of use (at first it was great, but after a while, problems started to pile up).Out of the box, I've been loving this mouse. It was a lot bigger than expected, being almost a good inch longer than the M002. It feels very solidly built, ironically, as the middle of the back portion of the mouse features a hole of sorts which better showcases the lighting. The driver is included on a Mini CD, which was a tad of a drawback, as I had to dig up another computer with an optical drive in order to transfer the driver to my laptop which lacks one. The driver itself is really quite phenomenal, however, as it allows you to customize the lighting both in terms of color and how it lights up (respiration, where it pulses as if breathing, or standard, always lit). It enables customization of each button and changing the DPI/CPI of each profile when you press the DPI button behind the scroll wheel. Settings allow anything from 250 to 2500 DPI in increments of 250. There are also options for Mouse Speed, Scrolling Speed, and Double-Click Speed. Additional settings include Report Rate Settings from 125 to 1000, which I'm assuming refers to the polling rate. There also appears to be macro settings which allow you to record keystrokes and map them to a certain mouse key.Physically, the mouse is easy and comfortable to use in a variety of grips (from my testing). However, I find the fin that extends on the left side that sits underneath your thumb to be unnecessary. Even if it weren't there, I feel as though the experience using the mouse would be virtually the same. The right side of the mouse features a small cluster of tactile bumps, which I honestly still find unusual when my finger rests on them, but I figure it will just take some getting used to.Overall, the mouse is both visually appealing and superbly functional. The braided cable is definitely a nice touch, too. As it stands, this mouse is as good as it gets in its ten dollar price point, perhaps even better than some mice more than double in price. I'm giving it a 4/5 simply due to the driver not being available online and only in Mini CD form, but that's not to say the mouse isn't great in itself.
