If you leave the unit on and restart your computer, the hub is still on and powers up. The power supply also seems to be very good quality. This is the main unit sold at b&h and is one of the main reasons i tried it.
Cons
Poorly designed and disingenuously marketed to refer to as a powered usb 3 hub. Randomly decides to disconnect from my computer. Any movement devices lose their connection.

Pressing the power button removes power from attached devices and also removes the hub itself from the computer you have it connected to exactly as if you unplugged it

When you turn the power supply on the hub does not come on until you click the power button on the hub

Thats very annoying and inconvenient since i have the thing sitting behind a bunch of stuff and i have to reach over to get to it
